It pretty much seems like it's open to the reader's interpretation. I never read it that way I wonder if it was just autocorrect on the spelling? He is also divorced without really explaining it, and he is pretty obsessed with Gatsby.

While it appeared to answer my question it ultimately skirted around the ultimate significance of Nick being gay and went more for proving the fact. However I am having trouble understanding why Fitzgerald would choose to make Nick this way.
Gatsby's disqualified from equality by birth, but in the New America, he believes that equality can be attained through money, gotten however necessary. That seems like a heterosexual behavior. If he's not gay, he's highly suggestible another euphemism from the old days.
I don't really see any indication of Nick being homosexual, but I'd like to know what other people think. Thanks for your opinions. But really there is no way to say for sure.
